2. On the surface, the performance tells a meandering story, not without its fair share of intersecting historical characters, parenthetical segways and (un) related anecdotes.
   
   The lecture presents connections between extractivism, colonial botany and the conquest of Australia by the European powers. The narrator, however is an unreliable. Believe the story, not the storyteller.
